No — it is a guide range based on our recent work across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire. Groundwork, levels and access all affect the final figure. After a free site visit you get one fixed, written quote, and that is the price you pay.
The guide prices include labour, materials and VAT where applicable. Extras such as removing the old surface, drainage, edging, lighting and waste removal are added separately in step 4, so you can see what each one adds.
When machinery cannot reach the area — a rear garden behind a narrow side path, for example — more of the digging and moving is done by hand, which takes longer. The calculator adds 12% for restricted access to reflect that.
